I started out on my fitness journey as a marathon runner. After years of running, I never developed the physique I wanted through running only but I could eat whatever I wanted because I ran so much. I decided to try Beachbody to get the shape I wanted. When I started I went all in, starting with the 21 Day Fix , doing the exercise plan, Shakeology, and meal plan. Within the first 21 days I had lost 5 inches overall and my clothes fit better! By day 63 I was down two jean sizes and could really see muscle definition! Once I saw these results, it inspired me to reach out to other people to help them start their own journey. — Kristi
This is Colleen’s story…
Running has been my passion exclusively for the past 12 years, there were times that I ran every day for up to 10 months in a row without a break. I have always been prone to stress fractures in my feet & tib-fib but this past summer I had one in my heel that took 4 months to heal with pain in every step I took. Kristi was my running buddy. We ran local parks in the city & met at the YMCA 3-4 times a week to suffer together! After I decided to retire from running Kristi had just gotten started with the 21 Day Fix program. She quickly convinced me that I would like this. I had done a Beach Body program before but I wasn't all in with the shakes & food. As a runner I was able to eat pretty much what I wanted and that was a lot of carbs even though I thought they were "healthy carbs". My first program was the 3 day refresh, after I was successful without cheating for 3 days I knew I could do this! I lost 6 pounds in 3 days,so I was hooked. Next I did 21 Day Fix Extreme. I went 3 rounds plus a few days for a total of 70 days. My results were fantastic! I lost 10 lbs and 8 inches. My upper body was resculpted. It is awesome! I am currently 14 days into Hammer & Chisel, I love it! I drink yummy Shakeology every day, I rarely have a cheat meal. I started Energize & Recover form Beachbody's Performance line with H&C. It is awesome & it works. The support groups on line help me by keeping me honest, you share with others how your day went by grading on a scale of 1-5, 5 being perfect! We grade ourselves on water, food, workouts & our shake of the day! There is a huge support group out there that I love being a part of. At first I was embarrassed but I don't go a day without "checking in" I have high cholesterol problems & my body doesn't tolerate many medicines for this. I go back to the DR this week to get my level checked and I believe it will be normal without any medicine but I will do an update soon. Kristi has been by my side the entire time. I asked a lot of questions on Refresh but then I finally got the hang of it. We share Shakeology recipes, Fixate recipes, share what we like to put together for meal plans and we go out to lunch for legal 21 Day Fix approved meal at least once a week. Of course we are always doing a little bit of shopping for new clothes or bigger weights! So do this! I am sure happy that I did!
